Why Use A Wedding Planner
Most of my clients come to me in a similar situation. They are extremely busy at work, their social life is hectic, they’re madly in love and they want a wedding to remember. For these clients researching hundreds of suppliers is not only an impossibility, its a major source of stress. For these clients, having a wedding planner is a must.
So what is a wedding planner? Being a good wedding planner is about perfecting a process. It takes up a lot of time, involves a lot of meetings, but in the end it’s someone with a lot of skilled and trusted suppliers that can make or break a wedding. They become a kind of wedding insurance.
Does this mean that you can’t create an amazing wedding by yourself? Of course not! Quite often we show real weddings on our blog that have been created by the bride, with her friends and family to help. The question is, could professional advice have helped improve on any aspect? When you have so many different areas to plan, it’s pretty easy to miss out some of the smaller details.
When it comes to planning your wedding, you only get one chance (well some get a few more goes at it. ha ha). So don’t take the risk. When you think about it, the cost of a wedding planner is not really that big as a percentage of the total. For instance, the average wedding in Australia has 100 guests, takes almost 300 hours to plan and costs roughly $50,000. And these figures keep growing.
So what do wedding planners cost? Several wedding planners have by-the-hour packages, some have a percentage of the total and others have a fixed price. With so many wedding planners out there, there’s going to be someone to fit your needs, style and budget. To view our packages click here.
